Under voice services - sp1 - x_inboundcallroute = {13604537502:aa,ph},{ph}

Also messed with delay settings to 20000, but when I call with above cell number, AA doesn't answer, and then GV Voicemail picks up.

Try it this way {13604537502:aa},{ph}
The aa should answer all calls from that number, all other calls will ring the phone

That change doesn't work either.  Anything else I can try?

What does happen? What does the call history for the Obi show?

You must access the device itself to see the call history.

dial **1 for the ip address of the device
enter the ip address in your browser's address bar
the default log in is 'admin" "admin" unless you changed it.

So once I get home, and if I'm really seeing my cell number showing, as I'm guessing it really will be as our gv Voicemail kicks in, what might I check next?

the google voice mail would be ahead of the Obi, so just because it picks up doesn't mean the call came into the Obi. That only proves that the call is being received by google voice.

So you do not know what is really happening at the Obi. Is the phone port ringing instead of the AA or what.

I also change X_InboundCallRoute to: {aa} thinking that would force any call on SP2 to go to AA - AA just never prompts for admin code

After using web interface - I now have it working - Using Obitalk portal was not doing it for me.  Will changing xboundincallroute to: {604:aa} make only caller id numbers that have 604 in them ring AA?  Trying to make it so only my daughter in Canada can call this DID that rings SP2.  I wanted it to work from any (604) xxx-xxxx number.  Using 604:aa doesn't seem to work.

Hortoristic,

This should work:
{(1604xxxxxxx):aa($1)},{ph}

This will give anyone calling that OBi with 604 area code access to the AA. With an added bonus that if she hangs up before the AA picks up, the ($1) part makes a callback to whatever number she dialed from. This is useful for those having free incoming cell time minutes. Otherwise it works just the same as calling to the AA, or remove the ($1) if you like.

Don't forget that you can enforce the use of a PIN on the AA.

How do I add more trusted numbers, is it like this:

{(1604xxxxxxx|(360)1234567|(360)9875432):aa($1)},{ph}

When I try this - the AA won't answer from 604 area code - but do from the other numbers I added:

{(1604xxxxxxx|3604703652|3604537502):aa($1)},{ph}

Try {(604xxxxxxx|3604703652|3604537502):aa($1)},{ph}
since it appears that your caller ID is coming in without the initial 1.

How can I add Anonymous so AA will answer?  I know its unusual, but the hospital my kid is in, it shows as anonymous when she calls the Canadian DID - so adding it is better than just leaving it completely wide open - I do have a password on it.

look in the call history and copy the cid that you see from that call.

Then try:
{(?):aa},{ph}

Everyone gets the AA.
