Obion (Recording) on IPad

So, I loaded the Obion app onto a new IPad, expecting a quick tryout. 

Before I even logged in, I was clicking around and got to the Phone's dial pad.  Clicked a number, and instead of a quick tone, it actually stuck.  OK, try another key and it too stuck, so now I have dual tones.  Finally I got rid of the tones, but forgot to note what exactly did it.

More scary though is the fact that I hit the Home button (IPad) to get to my browser, and across the top of my screen everything is RED and it says OBION (Recording)

I loaded the OBion application on my Ipad and it makes calls fine BUT it also after exiting program has a red banner at the top that indicates OBION recording. I have to reboot the ipad to get rid of it. Can't find any information on this forum or Google on what it means or what may be the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Basically the application will work after reboot.
