fax capability within obi

Is the processor within the Obi110 or perhaps a future version powerful enough to be able to incorporate some fax capability, both sending and receiving faxes?

I have in mind that for any computer on the same LAN, that the obi could be seen as a network printer that prints to a fax number, and the phone specification could include an outbound dialing port.

Also if the Obi were to detect an inbound fax tone, it could answer the call and save the image to network storage or forward to email or a special listener on a server on the LAN.

Having an Obi on the LAN should allow these services to be available to a host with no physical phone interface, and also make a virtual phone port available for this function.
