After installing the IOS 5 Goldmaster on my Iphone 4, I noticed that the Obion app cannot be used because there is no sound at all, neither for outgoing nor for incoming calls.

Calling my Obi110 from my Iphone over ObiTalk should connect to the AA, the connection is established (shown on the Iphone and in the Call history) but no sound!

Calling my Iphone from my Obi110 over ObiTalk makes my Iphone ring, but no sound!

Re-installing the app is to no avail. Calling with another Iphone 4 but running IOS 4.3 works as it did on my Iphone prior to installing IOS 5.

Has anyone the same experience? What about the Obihai support?

Exactly the same experience. Looks like iOS5 update needed.

Same for me.  New iPhone 4S running iOS5, but no sound via ObiOn.   Fix this fast please!

Pre-order.  Mine arrived at home this morning too, but I am not there to use it.  I won't be able to sleep tonight  Wink

I can also confirm that Obitalk app doesn't work on my iphone4/IOS5 (in exactly the same manner).

Please Note:  There is a known audio problem when using iOS 5. Until this is fixed, do not use OBiON with iOS 5.

Gosh, you think so?  Let's see IOS5 has been under development for what, a year?

You mean a problem with IOS 5, to be solved by Apple,  or rather a problem with the Obion application? I think it is the latter. If it is a known problem why don't you communicate this in due time?

So is there an expected release date?
Have you submitted the update already to Apple or are you still coding?

We are now in the process of validating and testing the release candidate.

I hope this hits the app store quickly because I have been counting on this functionality while I am out of the country for the next 3 weeks. If it doesn't then I will have to go buy a skype # and use that. NOT what i wanted out of my OBi

Ver. 1.2.1 fixed the audio issue with iOS5.

Now the audio works there is an annoying problem of tones being sent while holding the handset and the keypad is on top.  Apparently the app isn't interacting with the proximity sensor to deactivate the keypad if the phone accidentally touches the face while holding the handset.  The work around is to keep the history or obitalk screens on top.

I'm not sure if the iPhone OBiON App works the same as the Android, but the Android OBiON App has a icon that appears once the call is initiated.  The icon is on the second level, extreme right, with a keypad and an up/down arrow attached.  You can use this icon to minimize the keypad during a call so that accidental contact with the keypad is avoided.  You can bring the keypad up if you so desire, to enter numbers.  The proximity sensor was never an option on the Android version of the OBiON App!

I find my Obion can dial. Always disconnect even I know it is online.

I just upgraded to the new version and it worked for a day.  Now I am not getting any audio again on the obion app as of today.  There is no firmware upgrade for the router.  Am I missing something?   Huh
