I have installed ObiON app on my Viewsonic gTablet, running honeycomb android. Am able to place a call to a regular phone number using the app, and the other party can hear my voice, but I am not able to hear the other party. Same result when using the "echo test". The 30 second "audio test" however did complete successfully and the short beeps were heard. Also noticed that while the call was connected the volume icon in the app's screen appeared to be disabled.

Any idea what could be the problem?

try to 9 digit dial to your OBI device, then press 2 to dial out (add PIN if required) then the 10 digit number and # to complete call.

I have the same issue on ICS roms and this is a workaround for me.
