I hate to post a new topic on this, but all I see is people saying make sure your gmail forward to chat is checked, etc.

I can make calls from OBION cell and from attached phone. Attached phone rings when google # is called, but cell phone does not ring.

Just to proove that the forward to chat is working on Google, I installed Groove IP, and calls come into my cell phone that way when I call the google #.  What do I need to do to get the cell phone to receive calls using OBION?

The sticky is from February and says function is coming to do this. It does, doesn't it?

I am trying to test call quality using OBION versus Groove IP.

What do I need to do to get the cell phone to receive calls using OBION?

To receive calls on your OBiON App in addition to the OBi PHONE Port from the following trunks, make the appropriate change(s):

SP1 Service:

Voice Services -> SP1 Service -> X_InboundCallRoute : {pp(ob290123456),ph}

SP2 Service:

Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> X_InboundCallRoute : {pp(ob290123456),ph}

OBiTALK Service:

Voice Services -> OBiTALK Service -> InboundCallRoute : {pp(ob290123456),ph}

LINE Port:

Physical Interfaces -> LINE Port -> InboundCallRoute : {pp(ob290123456),ph}

where 290123456 is your OBiON App OBiTALK number.

Thanks for responding, but that is a little greek to me. Are you doing this somewhere on OBITALK? How do you get to the settings to make these changes?

Nevermind, I see somewhere else to go to the IP address and I am able to make these changes. Thanks.

Talk about lost. So I login, make the changes, hit submit each time, then reboot, and none of the changes are there. They are back to their original values such as ph.

If you're making changes directly to the OBi, you must set:

System Management -> Auto Provisioning -> ITSP Provisioning -> Method : Disabled
System Management -> Auto Provisioning -> OBiTALK Provisioning -> Method : Disabled

Otherwise, the OBiTALK Web Portal will overwrite your changes with its settings.

I was able to change the fields for all but the line port

Physical Interfaces -> LINE Port -> InboundCallRoute

Line1 doesn't have an InboundCallRoute just Outbound

am I looking in the wrong place?

You must be as the LINE Port doesn't have an OutboundCallRoute.

Only the PHONE Port and Auto Attendant have an OutboundCallRoute.

What needs to change for the Android Phone app to ring along with the phone?
