Updating to 1.3.0 on my ObiTalk bridge, Obion Softphone does not place calls

After I updated to 1.3.0 on my Obitalk bridge, I can not any longer place calls on my Anroid phone thru the Obitalk Bridge.
I can acquire service and ring a number but when the other phone picks up I still hear a ring back tone and other cases when ringing stops I can not hear other party and then call ends.
I could place calls yesterday but today after updating Obitalk Bridge I can no longer make calls.

Have you tried to put your Obi device in the router DMZ?
Hey, I don't work for them, but I was able to reproduce your problem, and I did this, and the problem went away. Not a good solution but a fix.

I'm a newbie, and just downloaded ObiON 2 days ago and it will not place calls. I've tried it on my Android phone which is Android 2.3.4 and I've tried it on my Xoom tablet running Android Honeycomb 3.2. Exactly the same rusults. Acts like it's calling but then disconects 2-4 seconds in. Real big bummer

Same problem here. Just installed OBiON to test it. It shows that it has acquired the service (says "Ready"). When I call a phone number it says "Calling" and then a second or two later says "Ended".
I was able to call the echo test and that worked fine.

If you reach the echo test, the OBiON App is connecting to the Internet and working.
Can you reach your OBi by dialing?: **9 200 123 456
where 200123456 is your OBi OBiTALK number?

The first time I dialed **9 and my obi number it did the same "Calling" then "Ended" after 2 seconds. I tried it again and I connected to AA. Tried a 3rd time and I connected to AA. Then tried another phone number and it worked calling out. Seems to be working atm.
The Android Market entry for the OBiON software has many 1 ratings saying that they are getting instant disconnects.

The OBiON Apps leave a lot to be desired and they rely on a proprietary voice server that's provided by Obihai that has reliability issues from time to time.

I have the same problem. App will dial number fine and ring, but as soon as other end answers, the call dies. Neither party hears anything except the ring and then dead air when call is answered. It worked up until a couple of days ago when I upgrade all 3 Obi's to software version 1.3.0. Is there any way to restore to a previous version?

According to Obihai, you cannot downgrade below v1.3.0. If you were using an earlier build of v1.3.0, you could revert to it, but you could not downgrade to v1.2.x.

OK, thanks. I guess I will wait to see if the Android app/Obihai software gets updated soon. If not, I may need to shell out the $10 for the ooma app for my phone (but only 250 free minutes a month). I'd be happy to pay for the Obi app if it meant improved support.
