If you want your google voice calls that come into the Obi to also ring the app on your iPhone at the same time, you need to edit the outbound call route for that line.
Voice Service > SP1 > InboundCallRoute =
{ph,pp(209xxxxxx)}
assuming your google voice is set on sp1, if it is on sp2 then edit for Voice Service > SP2
replace the 209xxxxxx with your app's softphone number
the default call route is ph
the phone connected to your Obi will ring one time before the app starts to ring. The phone connected to the Obi will continue to ring until the call is answered. Since google voicemail picks up after the 4th ring the app will likely only ring 3 times before the voicemail picks up.

I've tried this but once I reboot the device, it goes back to default settings. How can I have it save the changes?
ps- I am clicking on submit and then rebooting. It's been saving other changes, just not this one.
What I notice it doing is rebooting TWICE automatically. Then it comes back to default settings

medmansri,
I assume you are using the OBi unit web page to configure. If you want your new settings to stick you have to disable the auto provisioning feature. If you don't do this your OBi portal settings get copied back into the unit.
System Management>Auto Provisioning>Auto Provisioning>Method = Disabled

I've tried this, but my OBi 100 keeps rebooting twice when I hit "Reboot" and X_InboundCallRoute goes back to the default setting of "ph"

I looked at several posts about recieving calls on OBION and your phone. I noticed that several other post suggest replacing the "ph" variable in SP1, SP2, Obitalk and Line Port to {ph,PP(ob29xxxxxxx)}.
In this particular post I noticed that the only suggestion is to change InboundcallRoute in SP1 to {ph,PP(ob29xxxxxxx)} and if you have SP2 then one should change it to {ph,PP(ob29xxxxxxx)} as well. There is no suggestion about changing Obitalk. I left the variable that was already there unchanged at:
{(29xxxxxxx)>(xx.):SP1},{(29xxxxxxx):aa},{ph}
I also took the suggestion from RonR to disable auto provisioning at the following locations.
System Management --> Auto Provisioning --> ISP Provisioning--> Method :disable
System Management --> Auto Provisioning --> ObiTalk Provisioning-->
Method :disable
Again: the only thing that I had done was disable auto provisoning as suggested above and changed the Inbound call route in SP1 to {ph,PP(ob29xxxxxxx)}. As a result I am able to recieve incoming calls on my OBI100 and the OBION app on my Ipod Touch at the same time without any problem.
My question is why do the other post suggest I change the inbound call route in ObiTALK to {ph,PP(ob29xxxxxxx)}??? -- I only have OBI100 on SP1 and I don't have a landline so I did not change the line port.
Is there a reason for changing the inbound call route in ObiTalk to
{ph,PP(ob29xxxxxxx)}, expecially considering that the changes I made are working so far??

Making the change to the OBiTALK Service InboundCallRoute would also allow incoming OBiTALK Service calls on your OBiON App. If you don't want to receive incoming OBiTALK Service calls on your OBiON App, don't change the OBiTALK Service InboundCallRoute.
The same would be true for the SP2 Service InboundCallRoute and the LINE Port InboundCallRoute (on an OBi110).

ez-obi,
You might want to consider the following change to your existing OBiTALK Service InboundCallRoute:
Voice Services -> OBiTALK Service -> InboundCallRoute : {29xxxxxxx>(Msp1):sp1},{29xxxxxxx:aa},{ph}
This will allow 7-, 10-, and 11-digit dialing from your OBiON App, identical to your OBi PHONE Port.
Your existing configuration supports 11-digit dialing only from the OBiON App.

I've got a similar situation... in the near future the company I work for will stop providing our phones to us (it was nice while it lasted!). I have an older iPhone 3G from a daughter that upgraded and I'm trying to get the ObiTalk app to receive calls to my GV number..
Details:
-It's up to date at OS 4.2.1 but is jail-broken. Activated using SAM with PushFix installed.
-The iPusher test app works successfully (testing push notifications).
-I don't have a SIM installed and use wifi, data and 3G are turned off.
-It's not unlocked (again I don't have a provider so it does not matter).
-GV works Great through the obi 110 device at home, it also rings from a browser signed in to gtalk.
-The GV app on the iPhone alerts me within 2 seconds when I miss a GV call.
-ObiTalk connects and logs in via WiFi on the iPhone fine, I can make calls no problem, it shows as active in the dashboard.
-I have disabled auto-configs and added the ObiTalk number in the incoming fields.
But I never can get an incoming GV call to ring the iPhone. Am I missing something else? The phone doesn't have a SIM or phone number so incoming via GV directly isn't possible. The docs I read on ObiTalk state you should be able to receive on your iPhone.
I understand I might have issues with the phone being older, the 3G doesn't do background apps I do not believe. But even with Obi in the foreground I don't get incoming calls.
I do notice sometimes the phone drops the WiFi connection when I am trying to call it, and immediately tries to reconnect. That might be interference from my cordless phone since I made test calls while holding both devices..
Any insight would be appreciated. I didnt find anything else in the forum that fit my issue as closely as this thread... my thinking is that the iphone is effectively an iPod without the SIM. But I dont see anyone running ObiTalk with an iPod anywhere.

Voice Service -> SP1 Service -> X_InboundCallRoute {ph,pp(290xxxxxx)} (where 290xxxxxx is your Obion number)
All call coming in on SP1 will ring both the phone port of the Obi and the Obion app.

Can someone please tell me how I can make the following changes?
Voice Service > SP1 > InboundCallRoute = {ph,pp(209xxxxxx)}
System Management -> Auto Provisioning -> ITSP Provisioning -> Method : Disabled
System Management -> Auto Provisioning -> OBiTALK Provisioning -> Method : Disabled
When I get to the respectives fields to make changes, I can't type in them to make the changes. Very frustrating. Am I missing something?

JoeinKorea,
You have to uncheck the Default checkbox to the right of the field. This will allow you to enter a new value.
When the Default checkbox is checked, the field is forced to its default value.

how to get to this? from OBIHAI web site or from google or from iphone?
Voice Service > SP1 > InboundCallRoute = {ph,pp(209xxxxxx)}
assuming your google voice is set on sp1, if it is on sp2 then edit for Voice Service > SP2
replace the 209xxxxxx with your app's softphone number

From the Obitalk portal click on your device, then select "Obi expert configuration" at the bottom. Click OK and then "enter Obi expert" at the top.
Scroll down to Voice Service, and select the correct SPx

hI ...dO YOU KNOW IF THIS WORKS WITH OBI100. I went to the website and tried to change the settings but am unable to. It does not let me make any changes to the value 'ph' under X_InboundCallRoute. I tried uncheking the box OBiTALK settings but does not help either. Can someone help and tell me what I am doing wrong.
