I've noticed that some "unknown" caller keeps calling my number and that gets translated into "asterisk" in the callerid of my phone and the obihai call logs.
This is my setup.
Google voice > vestalink > obihai
Google voice logs show "unknown", vestalink incoming call logs show nothing...it's just a "-", and obihai shows "asterisk".
What is going on here? Anybody having similar issues?
The most annoying thing is that the caller never leaves a message.
The only time I've seen "asterisk" is when I call my VoIP.ms iNum by way of an OBi Voice Gateway using sp1(sip.inum.net). The inbound CallerID is "asterisk" when routed through the iNum server. Probably not much to go on there.
Perhaps you can filter that inbound CallerID to block it and forget about it.
