On one of those phone lines, I have ported the number to Google Voice. Now, I only have one PoTS number now and that is what I refer to as my line 1. I just wanted to know if Obihai would still act as a line2 now that it is ported over to Google Voice. Is there anywhere on the Obihai machine to plug in the PoTS line and use the VoIP line 2 at the same time?

Post by: OzarkEdge on July 31, 2015, 10:44:52 am If your OBi device has an RJ-11 FXO (office) port or USB port for connecting an OBiLINE accessory dongle, you can connect to a traditional PSTN/POTS line trunk in addition to VoIP SIP/XMPP voice service trunks. Some have reported issues with using the OBiLINE device.
An RJ-11 FXS (station) port is for connecting your actual phone. OE |
