Title: Current Consumption
Post by: VirtualMonitoring on June 23, 2011, 09:05:41 AM
I can't find anywhere that tells me how much current the Obi110 draws when it is idle or when it is in use. Anyone know this info?

If no one answers this for you, pm me, and I can put a meter on it and tell you exactly how much power it is drawing when idle, etc.

According to my Kill-A-Watt it is using 1 Watt.  If that is correct it will cost me about $1.34/year to run the Obi.

I have my UPS connected to the Kill-A-Watt and it says I am using 18 watts.  I use the UPS for phone backup so I have the Cable Modem, Obi 100, portable phone base station and Asus Modem connected to the Kill-A-Watt and it says I am using 20 watts.

Thanks for checking. I am looking for the current draw in milli amps for when the device is idle and a second figure for when it is in use.
