Title: Is Obi 110 PSTN forwarding to SIP reliable ?
Post by: realjohny on August 19, 2016, 01:54:08 pm
Hi everyone,

I have used Obi200 with PSTN dongle to forward calls via SIP to another SIP on my mobile but it wasn't reliable at all.

Anyone using this function on obi110 and happy with it ?

Also if call SIP on Obi110 to use attached PSTN (POTS) line remotely is possible ?

Maybe it's just me but I don't understand clearly enough how you have used the Obi200 or how you are thinking of using an Obi110 to be able to offer any advice.

I have used obiline with obi200 and have used following rule in inboundcall route for obiline:

{ph,sp1(12222222222)} where i replaced 1222222222 with my cell number.

I use the OBi110 to forward POTS calls to a SIP destination.  It works perfectly.  Yes, it is also possible to do it in the other direction.

What problems did you have with the OBi200 + OBiLINE?  I don't use this combination but perhaps another member can help you solve it.
