Title: Star 66 code??
Post by: 2ooarmz on October 07, 2016, 09:45:45 PM
Should I be able to use *66 (Busy Auto Redial)?  (Or, how do I make it work?)  ???

I have PhonePower VOIP, and they have *66, which is what you do when you get a busy signal and you want to know when the other end's line is free (so you can call them - "them" being whomever you're trying to call).

*66: When activated, the last phone number that the user dialed is automatically redialed until the called party is connected or 30 minutes passes.

You just need to add *66 to Phonepower's DigitMap. The following assumes Phonepower is your primary line on SP1. Use OBi Expert to make the configuration change.

Service Providers -> ITSP Profile A General -> DigitMap
Add "*66|" without the quotes after the beginning parenthesis.

Thank you!  I've entered it; we'll see what happens next time I need it.
