Title: How do I Port a Vonage IP 'landline' to Obi and Google Voice

After testing Obi for awhile I would not like to port my Vonage IP (cable ISP /landline) phone # to OBi and connect to my Google Voice account.   References online to porting a landline to Gmail seem to direct initial migration to a cellphone service and then to Google Voice. Is there any way to port my Vonage phone # directly to OBi?

No.

And get the terminology correct.  You do not port "phone # to OBi and connect to my Google Voice account".  You port the number to a GV account.  You configure your OBi with the credentials of the GV account.
