Title: OBI200: Backing Off : TCP connection to 125.198.194.173 failed
Post by: dlk3 on November 04, 2017, 10:40:52 AM
My OBI200 has been having trouble connecting to Google Voice through the OBIHAI gateway for over a week now.  What I'm seeing looks a lot like what's been discussed in the other thread about the OBI100 going to EOL.  But I have an OBI200.  That's not EOL.

I've upgraded the firmware.  I tried the DNS setting change.  I've deleted and redefined my GV SP config multiple times.  It's been hit and miss, sometimes it will connect, sometimes it won't.  Last time it worked was two days ago, Thursday.

I set up a second SP using the simonics.com gateway this morning and that's working fine so far.  I can make and receive calls through GV with it.  So I'm ok for the moment.  I wonder if OBIHAI is looking at this?

Obihai have already looked into it and issued a fix for your OBi.

Thanks for the link.  I applied the new firmware update and that seems to have fixed the problem.
