Title: Incoming OBiTALK Ring Pattern Triggers attached Fax Line
Post by: Everton on August 10, 2011, 04:32:07 PM
We have a HP Printer/Fax/Copier Machine attached to our OBi110 line, which is occasionally used to send outgoing Fax on either the SP1 (GV) or SP2 (VOIP.ms).  Since it is used as a Printer/Copier also, the unit is on most of the time.

Whenever I call from my OBiON App on my Android phone, to the OBi110, using **9200123561, the Fax machine always "kicks-in" without fail.  It is my opion that the "special ring pattern" that is heard when a call comes in from anyone of the three android Mobile devices associated with the OBi110, causes this to happen.  A normal incoming call on SP1 or SP2 DOES NOT trigger the fax machine.  Is there a way to change the distinctive ring on OBiTALK Service to something else that does not trigger the Fax Receiving tones?

Voice Services -> OBiTALK Service -> DefaultRing : 1

will set the OBiTALK ring pattern to the same ring pattern as SP1.
