Title: Outbound forward all to another distant Obi200 on internet
Post by: phoneophile on March 11, 2018, 05:45:39 AM
Hello folks,

I have searched back a year or so but suspect not using the correct terminology so can't find how to:

Forward all analog calls out on Obi200#2 to Obi200#1.  These are 10 digit calls only.

Current state:
Both devices (#1 and #2) are behind firewalls on internet in separate locations.
Obi200#1 is setup on GV and working fine. (Can receive and place analog calls)

Suspect a dial plan but not sure where to start.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or pointers.  I am not completely new to this but close.

After further searching, on and off this site, it seems like this might be done via connecting both Obi200#1 and Obi200#2 to the same google voice account and all should be fine.

Seems like ObiPlus, a $$$ service, is needed to do it with an outbound dial plan and maybe a Voice Gateway?  Main determinant seems to be two networks involved.

Still looking....

You can route the call over the OBiTalk network to OBi200#1 at no charge. As you posted, the same GV account can be defined on both devices.

Thanks....the dual GV approach seems to be working.

Even got a ObiWifi5G and running on a Verizon hotspot.

Very nice products.
