Title: Obi200 w/ WiFi & Google Voice (needs rebooting every few days)
Post by: EricObi on March 11, 2018, 01:56:25 PM
Hi,

I'm experiencing problems with the Obi200 & Google Voice, wherein I can pick up my phone, dial a number, but then I never hear the ring...and the call never completes.  During this time, I also can't receive any phone calls.  The only solution is to unplug the Obi200, and wait for it to reboot.  It then works perfectly.

My setup:
Obi200 is connected to the ObiWifi device.
It seems to prefer connecting at 2.4ghz, but I can force it to 5ghz, and that doesn't seem to make any difference.

Once I'm connected to a call I experience no dropouts/issues with sound quality.

It's only with the actual outbound call.

I've tried doing the echo test when other calls aren't working, and it works perfectly, which leads me to believe it's NOT an issue with the Obi device, or WiFi, nor the internet connection... but some quirk with the connection to Google Voice?

Has anyone experienced anything like this?

Thx in advance,
Eric
