Title: Set Up Procedural Question for OBI200

Hi All,
I'm a new user and about to set up my OBI200. I have a procedural question: When I first set up the number in Obitalk, do I just allow Obijai to assign a telephone number to me? I want to port my wired number to Google Talk by the method of first transferring it to a SIM I will get from T-Mobile. I know that when I set up the SIM I need to get a temporary number and then have T-Mobile port the wired number over. Do I need to do the same with Google Talk? It seems to be an unnecessary step to me. Also I heard on an instructional video (Troypoint), that GT won't let you change a number for 90 days after you delete it.
Any guidance appreciated.

You appear to have the wrong end of a stick.  Obihai never assigns a telephone number.  In your case, GV asks you whether you want a new number or use one you already have.

Never rely on any random person on the web posting a video.  They're mostly bogus, and may not reflect the most recent changes to the service.
