Title: OBi1022 Intercom (Auto-Answer) without interrupting calls in progress
Post by: computerspazzz on September 10, 2018, 05:36:44 PM
Is it possible to use the Intercom (Auto-Answer) feature but make it conditional to where it only does so if there is not a call in progress.  We use the feature ALLOT in our office (we have them on speed dial) but we have no way of knowing if someone is on the phone, and if they are it interrupts and puts the client on hold... we would greatly prefer it refuse the call or something.

We use this in a Speed Dial Slot to achieve what we are doing currently: *9621
The *962 it the part the dial another obiphone on the same account option with auto-answer, the last number "1" is the number of the phone in the ObiPortal... for example we have *9620 *9621 *9622 and each one connects to a different phone.

I am hoping someone who knows about this can tell me how to make it not interrupt calls in progress.  Thank You Very Much In Advance!
