Someone must have heard you talking about it and told Amazon to jack it up. It's now $169.99 on Amazon. Still a great price.

The Obi2182 is no longer available on Amazon. ??? Is it discontinued or what?
Did you try looking elsewhere? No, it is not discontinued. Polycom and Plantronics, now Poly, had a sales model that was focused on carrier partners, service providers and resellers. They seem to be having a lot of trouble working with Amazon for retail sales.
This is a reputable company that sells the 2182:

Okay. Well, I did see that; the price is quite high given that Amazon has the Obi2062 for $69.97 and Obi2162 for $79.97. The Obi2182 is on newegg.com (third party reseller) for $153.97, which is considerably less.
I actually just had a sales/support call with Poly/Obi, to ask for datasheets, and they were clueless as to where the Obi2062 and Obi2162 datasheets even were. It just seems that something is amiss with the Obi2000 series phones, even though the products look solid on paper.
No, nothing amiss. The legacy Polycom folks don't seem to know about the legacy Obihai products, and honestly, there are only a few, compared to the very many Polycom products. There are no conclusions to be drawn here about product availability; the conclusions are simply that the company has no marketing strategy for them.
On the other hand, I assume they will be happy to tell you about the VVX-x50 series, which work with Google Voice for G Suite.
