Title: Strange Fax or Printout from my Multifunction Printer connecting to Obi
Post by: JoeyBoy on October 14, 2020, 05:37:16 PM
Hi,
Today I received 3 weird printouts or faxes.  It has one single line each time.
It contains something like "random1random2random3" or "#$*%&^#feedback"
It has stopped after I unplug my Obi and still have the MFP connects to my LAN.
So, I think I could say it comes from Obi device rather than LAN/local printing.

I have Obi connects to my GoogleVoice.  Do not see any incoming calls or fax on my Voice account.
Anyone experiences similar issues before?  How do you fix it?
For now, I just leave my Obi offline.

Connect the HP Printer to an Orbi AC3000 router.
Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the port found on the HP Printer and then connect the other end of the cable to an available port on your Orbi AC3000 router.
Turn on the HP Printer.
Press the power button to turn on the HP Printer.
