Title: OBI200 or 202?
Post by: freymonica on October 18, 2020, 01:52:04 PM
Hi All

My current setup is an OBI100 with a PhonePower VOIP provider providing service for 1 particular phone number.

I have another land line now through my cable provider that is ripping me off monthly. I would like to port it over to PhonePower as well and have both lines on an OBI device.

Can I port this second number to PhonePower and use an OBI200 if I only plan to make calls on one number at a time?

Will I be able to receive calls on both numbers if not on the phone at the time?

Do i need to get the OBI202 to receive calls on both numbers even if not concurrently?

Thanks!

An Obi200 is able to have up to 4 numbers.  Any mix of service providers including Google Voice.  As it has only one interface for an analogue phone, only one call take take place at a time.  However that call can be a 3-party call.
