Title: OBi202 new Anveo service new number (former Google Voice user)
Post by: imaginethat on January 08, 2021, 10:28:08 PM
Hi, had GV working well for years. Want to ditch it and change to Anveo. Very simple needs but can't get it working, please help.

One landline. Panasonic cordless phone attached with an answering machine built-in.

I have followed the prompts to set up with an 'approved home service provider' Anveo. See screen shots. I have entered my Anveo SIP username and password as shown at: https://www.anveo.com/accountPreferences.asp?pc=preferences.sip

FYI, I checked the first 2 boxes for "phone 1" (outgoing and incoming) in the first screenshot and left the others unchecked (but it changes them automatically when I go back there from some reason)

Click red text Error click here for more and go to: https://www.obitalk.com/obinet/pg/obhdev/add?nxtstep=2 I do hear the message that the code was sent to the server.

bump.
Were my screen shots confusing? If so, disregard.
Simply: how do you set up Anveo on OBi202 for a single line nothing fancy?

Have you tried using Obitalk portal to configure?

Anveo can't be configured/subscribed from portal anymore as "Click here to get started" button in the step #4 has been removed from subscribe page.

Anveo support claims it is OBI issue and OBI support ignores any help requests.
