Title: OBi100 Dialing speed
Post by: YGOC on November 01, 2011, 01:03:10 PM
We're using a OBi100 as part of a fire system, to dial a local number.
The company installing the system just told us that they tested everything, and there's a bit of an issue, as it seems like the fire system is dialing faster than the VOIP line can handle, and that messes up the system on the fire box when it tries to call.
Is there some way to possibly adjust the settings on the OBi100 so that it can handle the faster dialing speed, the same as a regular POTS line?
Otherwise, we're really enjoying the OBi100 - it's an amazing box with some amazing technology running behind it!
Thanks a lot!

**Updated with the correct info - the fire system was dialing too fast for the OBi100
