Hi, could people please tell me how to use the *98 ( Blind Transfer ) feature in my OBI-200?
Say, I am in a call with person-A, if I dail *9814161231234, then OBI-200 will immediately disconnect me (but keep persona-A on the line) and call 14161231234, and if that number is answered, OBI-200 will connect person-A with 14161231234. Is that true?
I found it out.
During a call:
I have to press the Flash button first,
Waiting for the dial tone,
And then press *98 ( optionally followed by the "#" key, to speed up the process ),
And then wait for a slightly different dial tone,
And then dial the the target number ( optionally followed by the "#" key, to speed up the process ),
After I hear a 3-beep confirmation tone, I can safely hang up my phone, because the blind transfer is now occurring in the background.
