Title: Suddenly 202 won't take any service provider parameter change
Post by: OldGuy on September 25, 2021, 10:33:43 AM
My VoIP provider changed the recommended sip server, and while the setup in my 202 shows the choices correctly, I am unable to make a choice or change what's there.  If I click on one of the server locations, it accepts it, but when I save it doesn't save the result.

There are two different ways to configure and manage an OBiTALK device:  the device's built-in web page, via its IP address, or the OBiTALK portal (https://www.obitalk.com/obinet/pg/obhdev (https://www.obitalk.com/obinet/pg/obhdev)).

By default, any changes you make on the local web page will be overwritten by the configuration on the portal, the next time the device reboots.

I recommend that you use the OBiTALK portal instead.  The common newbie question is how to edit parameters in "Expert configuration" mode, if necessary.  You will need to un-check both boxes to the far right of a value to edit it, then scroll to the bottom of the page and click Submit.
