I am considering moving my landline to Google Voice and using the OBI200 so that my home landline phones will still be functional in the house. I am curious to know if I proceed with this, would I also be able to use the Google Voice app on my cell phone and have my landline number be able to receive and make calls from the app when I am away from home and want to take or make phone calls on my landline number?

Yes that will work fine. Be aware that you cannot move a landline directly to GV. You must port the landline to a mobile carrier and then to GV. I used T Mobile Prepaid as the interim carrier.
