Anyone here beta testing the OBi Plus units. Seems like OBihai has quietly dropped the idea since there has not been any follow up for months and in the meantime a new generation of OBi has been born.
The OBiPLUS project is moving forward. In fact, the just released OBi202 will provide another dimension to make OBiPLUS that much more useful.
OBiPLUS is a phone/voice solution designed to be used by small businesses. By this, we are talking about the many millions of small businesses that currently have a phone service, but probably not a phone system. What's more, business phone lines can cost quite a bit. And by using a VoIP service, not only can a small company lower their monthly communications costs, but they can also take advantage of many collaborative and productivity-enhancing applications only available (and affordable) using VoIP. Understanding that the phone is the life-blood of many small businesses, OBiPLUS will address the specific needs of a small business to present a consistent, uniform and professional greeting to their clients/customers while affording the employees a large degree of flexibility in how they use the phone individually or as a team.
We are still in the midst of finalizing the product launch requirements and feature/functionality road-map for the go-to-market OBiPLUS product.
