Title: Changing my set up
Post by: Johnny on June 08, 2012, 05:47:58 PM
Hey guys,

Here's my set up:  I have two Obi 110's currently active.

One is connected to my router and one is on an eight port switch.  The eight port switch connects to the router.

The one on the eight port switch is connected to a single cordless phone and it is set up with Google Voice on SP1 and Callcentric as SP2.

The other Obi 110 is on the router and it is hooked up to a cordless phone that has three other handsets located throughout the house.
It is set up with Google Voice as SP1 and Google Voice as SP2.

Here's my question:  Is there an easy way to change my set up so that the cordless phone with the three other handsets can be set up with Google Voice as SP1 and Callcentric as SP2?  More or less reversing everything.

Is it as simple as taking the phone plug that is in one phone and switching it to the other?  Or do I need to start from scratch and delete everything and start over with "adding a device"?

Thanks

The simplest is swap the wires.

Thank you.

Do I have to unplug the Obi 110's before swapping the phone lines?
