Title: OBi 110 caller id on incoming PSTN calls
Post by: augustin7725 on July 09, 2012, 03:14:35 PM

Hi folks,
I can't seem to find a definite answer to this question on the net hence I'm asking here.  Does the OBi 110 pass through caller id on incoming PSTN calls  on to a softphone (or other endpoint)?

thanks,
Augustin

Yes, at least it did. In the beginning it did not. it only passed the listed name of the Obi. Then there was a firmware update that fixed it where the Obitalk service could pass the original caller id from any trunk to the other endpoint.

I tested it after the fix and it worked, I guess it still does.
