Title: Obi202: Manual configure IP, DNS, GV, SIP server
Post by: 0815dela on November 10, 2012, 09:06:38 PM
Trying to configure GV on SP1 and then use SP2 as SIP server so I can connect a sip phone to GV via Obi.

Having some trouble with this.
1. Where can a static IP be set in bridge mode? There does not seem to be an option. Do I have to set a dhcp reservation on my router via MAC address?

2. SP1 (GV) Service Status says "Resolving DNS"

3. SIP Phone cannot connect

Here is my config: http://www.filedropper.com/config_8

1. "dhcp reservation on my router via MAC address", should work.

2. In bridge mode I don't think you need a DNS entry in the OBi. Your router should provide for this.

3. From your PDF I see, {SP2@1001@local_client} I think "local_client" should be ip of the sip client (phone).
