when I dial **9 222 222 222 I get a fast busy. I would not recommend disabling the firewall.

Did you open any ports ? if yes how did you open them ? I set up the Obi100 at the Netgear location. I then connected Obi device to the Actiontec location. The Obi now works in both locations. :)
