Title: Outbound calls- no ring tone when dialed
Post by: PT88 on January 09, 2013, 09:30:23 pm
Hello
I am wondering if someone could provide help.

Currently

Line =bell copper line used for local and 911 service
Sp1-north America longdistance
Sp2-international calls via VoIP.ms

Line, and sp1 -dials out immediately followed by a ring tone (to let you know that the call is being made)...then someone picks up

When dialing out via sp3, I dial, there is only silence until someone picks up.

I am wondering if there s a setting that will allow the ring tone after I call the outbound international call.

Thnx

You say you are dialing out over SP3. Do you mean SP2?

What happens when you dial your Bell or another local number?

Sorry. Been out of town.  Yes.  I meant to write sp2 which is the voip.ms line.  When dialing out via pstn line, it rings immediately.
