Title: Obi202 no inbound calls.
Post by: JJ_GTA on January 12, 2013, 05:58:10 pm
Obi202 doesnt work as expected anymore.

Phone 1 - Can call out, can not receive calls
Phone 2 - Gets a busy signal when picking up receiver

Calling DIDs does not work.
Calling the OBI directly from another Obi device with **9 gives a busy signal.

Phone 1 shows on hook. (Except when they call out)
Phone 2 shows on hook.

Obitalk portal shows the device online
SP provider shows the Obi connected.
Firmware: 3.0.1 (Build: 3647)

Reboot does not resolve the issue.

Any ideas?

Problem Solved:

The Obi device was in DND mode.

*78 was  pressed by mistake, they were trying to access voicemail and didn't remember the * code so they guessed.

*79 turns DND off and everything works fine now.

It would be nice to see the DND status on the web portal or the ObiTalk portal.

There was a firmware change that gave you a repeating  "beep, beep" when *78 was active, and a normal dial tone when *79 was active.
