Title: OBI 110/Callcentric stops working
Post by: klrwaffles on January 19, 2014, 04:15:42 pm
A few months ago my OBI requires a reboot to receive or make calls.  I usually don't notice until callcentric emails my voicmail and the phone didn't ring.  A reboot takes care of it.

Today I tried to reboot over the web, and I couldn't access my static IP.  I dialed *** and it told me the correct IP.  I rebooted ***9 and can make calls again.

TLDR;  my obi used to work great, now I need to reboot every few days to make/receive calls.

Any ideas?

It happened again a few days ago.  I wonder if my OBI is bad?

Can't get to it over Ethernet, but I can pick up the phone and get dial tone.  ***9 and it works again.

I am having a similar issue with an OBI110 and Google Voice. A few weeks or so ago, I started to have to reboot it once or twice a day to make or receive calls. It used to work flawlessly. I don't know what happened. I am hoping someone can shed some light on this. Does this have something to do with the firmware upgrade people are complaining about?
