Many people are keeping their GV account for inbound calls and voicemail. They are spoofing there GV number with their VOIP provider for outbound calls. Some people are having problems accessing their voicemail because GV will block calls with a spoofed GV number.
I solved this problem with my CircleNet account.
I used a CircleNet sub-account to spoof a Forwarding Number to access GV voicemail.
Here is the solution:
Sign into your GV account.
Click on the Gear Icon.
Click Settings.
Click EDIT under a Forwarding Number.
Click Show Advanced Settings.
Under VoiceMail Access click YES.
Click PIN not required. (Optional)
Click SAVE.
Open a support ticket at CircleNet requesting the creation of a sub-account with the outbound callerid of the above Forwarding Number. I requested an 11 digit callerid. It took them less than an hour to setup the sub-account. They will send you an email with the credentials. It would be helpful if CircleNet allowed the user to setup their own sub-account.
In the OBi:
Setup Voice Gateway 3
Name: CircleNet2
AccessNumber: sp1(outbound.circlenet.us)
AuthUserID: Your_ID
Authpassword: Your_PW
SP1 must be defined as SIP.
Add the following to the beginning of the Phone Port OutboundCallRoute:
{(1gggggggggg|<1>gggggggggg):vg3},
gggggggggg is your GV number.
Dial your GV number with or without the country code and you will be connected to your GV voicemail.
This should work with any provider that will allow a different callerid on a sub-account.
Edit:
I had an error in the OutboundCallRoute. CircleNet requires the country code. It has been corrected.
