Title: Setting caller id for anveo account on obi digit map
Post by: joefly on May 05, 2014, 09:05:33 PM
I read somewhere that you can choose the callerid shown on the anveo account using obi digit maps

For example.

*001 would show one caller is but dialing prefix *02 would show another callerid. Has someone already done this that can explain how to do this?

Thanks

I helped someone with that but I'll have to find the thread.

EDIT: Please see this thread.

Final String

I got this string to work for 11 digit dialing.
*02(<sp1(*02>1xxxxxxxxxx<)>), Custom CID, call($Code)

This works for 10 digit dialing.
*02(<sp1(*021>xxxxxxxxxx<)>), Custom CID, call($Code)

I can't seem to get both working as I wanted.  Perhaps I am missing something.  Until I crack it or until someone else comes along with the fix either one will work.  You just have to pick a format to dial.
*02 1 555-777-1212  or *02 555-777-1212

I'm sure there are other ways to do this.
