Title: SP1 Sp2 with Anveo
Post by: tracyt317 on May 13, 2014, 10:29:25 am
I have two Anveo numbers. One is local to Washington DC and the other is a London UK number.  I want the DC number on SP1 and the UK on SP2.  I would like to be able to just pick up the receiver and dial **2  001 +area code +number to call the US.  This doesnt work for me.  I can not seem to dial the US at all from this number and its only hit and miss with local UK numbers.  Can someone offer a suggestion for setting up the dial plan for SP2?

Thanks
Tracy

Why are you dialling US numbers on SP2 rather than SP1?

I usually do, but there may come an instance where I need to call the US from this number.

I think you may need to add the country code =1:
**2  011 +1+area code +number

I guess I could try that as a long-form US to US, but I'll let you try first.

Edit... Yes.. access code 011 rather than 001,  then country code...

Perhaps you need to use the US international access code. 011?

I am thinking 011 44... for example would be a call to UK, so 011 1... for US, right?
