Title: OBi100 Web Interface (by IP) issues since 1.3.0.2858 update
Post by: ecsa0014 on May 20, 2014, 03:47:52 pm
I just received the 1.3.0.2858 firmware update yesterday for my OBi100. Now when I try to access my OBi100 by it's IP to manage it, The web interface is mostly borked.

In Firefox, On nearly every tab I only get:
"XML Parsing Error: not well-formed
Location: http://192.168.1.180/default.xsl
Line Number 445, Column 18:"

and

"
XML Parsing Error: unclosed token
Location: http://192.168.1.180/default.xsl
Line Number 508, Column 45:"

In Chrome, I get blank pages.

What is going on? Is anyone else experiencing this issue? This is incredibly annoying...

How did you go about getting that firmware update? Isn't that a newer version that doesn't have general release yet? So you must have gotten it straight from Obihai to try and fix a specific problem?
Such is the fate of a beta tester.

I was some intermittent issues since switching to Phonepower and had read that this firmware would remedy this so I submitted a support ticket to obtain it. As far as I can tell, My issues are now gone but this issue is pretty annoying. I had figured that there could be some issues with this release but wasn't anticipating losing the web UI on the device. I hope Obihai can get this resolved.

Is your computer / web browser using Wi-Fi? I have seen this issue before when using Wi-Fi for some reason. If my computer is connected via ethernet cable I rarely see this happen.
