Title: There is no service available to complete your call
Post by: toddmd2 on June 21, 2014, 09:35:42 am
I got a new cable modem from my ISP yesterday and after hooking it up I'm unable to make calls using my Obi 100.   Now when dialing out I get the message "There is no service available to complete your call".

I've made no changes to my Google Voice account, so I'm not sure why I can't make calls. Any ideas?

Modem or modem-router?

If your OBi is set to get its IP address by DHCP, try rebooting the OBi.

Or if static IP check that the new 'modem' is using the same network address as the old one. If different, reconfigure the OBi appropriately.

Modem or modem-router?

That's a great question.  I'll look into that and try your suggestions.  Thanks.
