Title: Two DIDs on one SIP account, how to configure? Post by: Uncle_Wiggley on July 26, 2014, 09:14:03 am I have an F9 account with 2 DIDs and I want one to ring on one port of my OBi 202 and the other to ring on the other phone port.
Is there a way to set this up? It wasn't obvious from looking at all of the possible settings. Title: Re: Two DIDs on one SIP account, how to configure? Post by: azrobert on July 27, 2014, 02:42:18 pm You normally would setup 2 extensions at your provider.
Route one DID to extension 1 and the other DID to extension 2. In the OBi register SP1 to exten 1 and SP2 to exten 2. Route SP1 to PH1 and SP2 to PH2. This is how you can do this in Callcentric. I don't know about F9. Another option is to route the calls based on callerid. If a geographic area only calls one DID you can route calls by one or more area codes to PH1 and all others to PH2. Thanks for the reply - I got this set up through F9. |
