Title: call rejected by ISP error 407
Post by: artgriff on March 12, 2015, 09:42:39 AM
Thank you for your help.
I have had a random problem with my OBI202. Sometimes when I dial a number (it has happened with various numbers) I get the distinctive tones for a problem then a recorded message that the number dialed has been rejected by th ISP. error 407. If I hang up and immediately redial the number the call will go through. Sometimes I have to wait a few minutes then redial the number. Before coming here I have worked with Callcentric about the problem and they then told me that the problem was not theirs and try Ringto. So I have worked with Ringto to solve the problem and yesterday they told me that some how when I dial a number it is going to Aveno and that is where the rejection is coming from. Ringto suggested that I contact OBI about the problem.

Can you help with this problem?

I am not versed in proxys, but it is:

407 Proxy Authentication Required
The request requires user authentication. This response is issued by proxys.

I don't know how the call can be routed to a different provider unless you defined a Trunk Group.
Look at the OBi202's call history to see which provider the call was routed.

To access Call History:
Log directly into the OBi using the local interface.
Key the IP address of the OBi into a Web Browser.
Hit Enter
The UserID and default Password are both "admin".
Click Status on the left column.
Then click Call History.

Thank you for your help with this problem.

Lavarock7 I am not using a proxy so I don't know how that would cause the problem. Can you give me any more information? If the problem is a proxy how do I find it and end it. Thanks again for you help.

Azrobert I will give your suggestion a try over the weekend and post back with the results. Thanks again for your help.
