Dial up modem to Linear AE500 Gate

I am wanting to switch away from a Century Link land line. I have an OBI 202 with GV on SP1, SP3, SP4, and Phone Power on SP2. I need to dial in using an usb dialup modem on my computer  to a Linear AE500 gate system. The gate is not answering when I try to dial in using VOIP, but does answer using the old land line. Is there a setting I need to do for VOIP to work? The gate only works with a dial up modem.

Wondering if the "Use This Service for a Security Alarm Line" setting for google voice would help?
