OBI IPhone app not working

Hi there I am new to my OBI 110, the unit is working okay for me a such as on my normal phone.  However when I am on the road I forwarded the SIP phone number to my cell phone and the phone never rings.  All it does it goes straight into voice mail.

So I thought that I add the IPhone OBI app and that does not ring with forwarding turned off and or on?  I hope someone can shine some light on this for me because I am lost here.

How are you forwarding the SIP number to your cellphone?

An OBi has no voicemail.  What voicemail are the calls going to?

The voice mail is from my VOIP provider. 

When I forward the VOIP number from my phone I am using the *72 = my cell pone number.  However my cell phone never rings.

1.  Do you terminate the number with # and do you get the confirmation tone?

2.  If you dial the number from the phone on the Obi does your cellphone ring?

3.  Are you forwarding to a conventional cellphone number or to an Obitalk number?

Yes I am ending with a #
No I am getting straight to voice mail
