*98 for voicemail access

(1/1)

tadrian33:

Hi All,

Just got my obi 200 setup on friday with my new voip provider (thespout.ca).  Spout's default access number to access my voicemail messages is *98. When I dial that number it puts the phone into blind transfer mode.  Is there a way to change blind transfer to another * code so I can access my voicemails?

azrobert:
You don't have to change any star codes, just add *98 to your provider's digit map.
Assuming your provider is defined on SP1 and SP1 is your Primary Line.

Service Providers -> ITSP Profile A General -> DigitMap
Add the following AFTER the beginning parenthesis:
*98|

Use OBi Expert to make this change.

Untick both boxes at the right hand end of the line.
