Hello everyone,

I need some help from the community to figure this one out. I am using the FreePhoneLine VoIP service with my Obi202. It works beautifully and I have zero problems.

I just got a OBIBT bluetooth adaptor and it's paired to my iPhone. I can make calls with the home phones through the cell phone using the **8 prefix. Also, when someone calls my cell, the home phones ring and I can answer. It works beautifully.

What I can't figure out is when someone calls my VoIP service on L1,  and the Home phones ring, how do I answer with my cell phone?   It shows as paired but nothing happens when I receive a call on the VoIP service.  I also can't seem to figure out how to use my cell phone to dial out through L1 on the Obi202.

I have looked everywhere and read all the documentation. Can someone help?

I don't think you can do what you want using OBiBT. You will need to install a softphone on your iPhone. Zoiper is a free softphone. You then register the softphone to the OBi202 and now you will be able to route calls to/from your iPhone. Use OBi Expert to make the following changes:

OBi202:
Service Providers -> ITSP Profile D  SIP -> ProxyServer: 127.0.0.1
Service Providers -> ITSP Profile D  SIP -> X_SpoofCallerID: Checked
Voice Services -> SP4 Service -> AuthUserName: OBi202
Voice Services -> SP4 Service -> AuthPassword: password
Voice Services -> SP4 Service -> X_RegisterEnable: Unchecked
Voice Services -> SP4 Service -> X_ServProvProfile: D
Voice Services -> SP4 Service -> X_Proxy: Checked
Voice Services -> SP4 Service -> X_InboundCallRoute: {OBi202>(Msp1):sp1}

Voice Services -> SP1 Service -> X_InboundCallRoute:
ph,ph2,sp4(OBi202@xx.xx.xx.xx:5060)

xx.xx.xx.xx is the IP address of the iPhone
5060 is the port number of Zoiper

Zoiper:

Proxy: yy.yy.yy.yy:5063
UserID: OBi202
Password: password

yy.yy.yy.yy is the IP address of the OBi202
5063 is the X_UserAgentPort of OBi202 SP4 trunk
The Zoiper default is to assign a random port
You need to set the SIP port to 5060
Go to Config -> Connectivity -> Listening Ports
Under Local SIP Port uncheck Random Port
The port number should be 5060
If it's not change it to 5060

I'll confirm what azrobert thinks. The OBiBT cannot enable SIP, GV or POTS calls through an OBi ATA to be initiated or answered on a cellphone.

That an ObiBT cannot do what is desired here is not down to Obihai. Bluetooth on a phone does not have the required functionality.
