IVR/AA2 Invoking *** Default **3 makes more sense?

One question I've had for sometime is why it was chosen to have *** as a default to invoke the IVR or AA2,
for example one uses ***1 to get the IP ***6 to check for updates ***9 to reboot,

If you have kids around the house one could accidently hit ***8 to restore factory defaults by accident.

I  think its less likely of this happening by changing it to **7 or **3 instead of ***, it also makes more since in my opinion since **1 access SP1 **2 invokes SP2 **8 the line port, and **9 ObiTalk,

Either way I managed to change IVR to be invoked via **3 myself but thought I'd share this tip with anyone who might have kids around the home.

The correct and easiest solution is to simply enable IVR password protection:

System Management -> Device Admin -> IVR -> Password : (must be all digits)

NOTE: There is a bug in the OBi's handling of the IVR password.  The IVR command that required you to enter a password will be lost and you will be sent back to the menu where you have to enter it again.
