Best business fax solution?

I am helping a friend set up his small office.  I am generally recommending an Obi202 with their current analog phones.  I would also like to recommend a fax option.

Having read several posts, I still don't have a clear sense of which is better (re: most reliable, least headaches, even if it costs money): 1. Using an analog fax machine with the Obi202 or using a fax service, where the faxes are terminated off site, and faxes can be sent via uploading a pdf document or similar.

Any general sense of which is most robust?  If a service is most robust, what service would you recommend?

It would help to know how much faxing (send or receive) will your friend's small business expect?

Knowing some they'll recommend the fax service. The important thing is what will his clients be comfortable dealing with?
