Hi,
I got a obi110 so I can use the line port to connect to the building intercom (mircom) even if I don't
have any landline as I moved mu number to voip.
But it seems that the obi110 doesn't catch the ringing from the intercom.
Mircom 'simulate' the line and the ringing.
On my call history I got a small entry for ringing from the landline this morning (miss the delivery guy) but I lasted 3s and never ring the phone (on the phone port of the obi110).
But when I plug directly the phone on the wall it ring correctly with the intercom.

does anybody here have experience with the obi110 and and intercom (mircom) ?
I don't want to have 2 phones, should I look at one 'two lines' phone (or voip/analog) ?

Thanks.

From what you described, I think OBi110 can actually detect the ringing from intercom, but might not have enough time to ring the phone. We may try to modify some settings --

  1) Shorten LINE port ring delay, go to:
Physical Interface -> LINE port -> RingDelay -> 0 (default is 4 seconds, which might be too long)

  2) Shorten Ring validation time, go to:
Physical Interface -> LINE port -> RingValidationTime -> 150 ms

  3) Shorten Ring Indication delay time, go to:
Physical Interface -> LINE port -> RingIndicationDelayTime -> 256 ms

Give it a try, see if you can hear the ringing on the phone ..
